2010

Classroom Grants

The Community Education Foundation (CEF) is pleased to announce this year’s Classroom Grant recipients. Each year, the CEF solicits grant applications for Classroom Grants from the Council Bluffs Community School District.

This year, the CEF received twenty-five (25) applications from teachers requesting a total of $10,237.00 in funding for classroom projects.

We are excited to be able to fund all twenty-five (25) grant applications this year. The grants are competitive and made available to teachers to provide innovative classroom projects for students of the district that are not funded by the district.

Grant applications were reviewed by a four (4) member Review Team who made the decision to fund all twenty-five (25) projects that will serve 2,311 students in the district for a total of $10,237.00.

Grant presentations were made Tuesday night, November 23, 2010, at the Council Bluffs Community School Board meeting held at the Education Service Center Building.
