Overview

The Community Education Foundation has established the Gold Star Fund to provide opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations to invest in the success of our community’s children. In the effort to raise community awareness of and financial support for programs that are not funded by tax dollars, the Community Education Foundation actively solicits community support for the projects of the Gold Star Fund.

Classroom Grants

The Community Education Foundation (CEF) is pleased to announce this year’s Classroom Grant awards. Each year, the CEF solicits grant applications for Classroom Grants from teachers in the Council Bluffs Community School District.

Again this year, were awarded a

Match Grant

from the Iowa West Foundation.

We are continuing to seek funds in order to be able to recieve the full $33,500.00 from IWF.

We still need to raise almost

$7,745.00

to reach our goal and receive matching funds from IWF

Please consider a donation to our Classroom Grants project! Every dollar you give is worth TWO!

The grants are competitive and made available to teachers to provide innovative classroom projects for students that are not funded by the district.
